Occupy Whatever Moves Us Closer To Greece

The Washington Post reports the Occupied Wherever movement is partnering with powerful labor unions.

The labor unions are providing meeting unions, food, secretarial services and other items. In return, the Occupied group is interrupting Sotheby’s auctions and a restaurant in New York City to support union members in a labor dispute.

While the relationship of activists with labor is hardly a marriage made in heaven because many workers are still Reagan conservatives, it is certainly a marriage of convenience with neither party happy with the status quo, and at least some of both partners most radical activists wanting nothing short of revolution.

This is a partnership that must be watched. Neither group is beneficial to the stability of America, and combined they represent a potential problem for a nation already in economic turmoil.

We move closer to Greece, where a combined union and disaffected youth movement has turned violent.
