California is solidly on the route to establish a law stopping children from attending public schools if they are not fully vaccinated. A vote in the California Assembly could come as early as today.
Opponents contend that the law takes away their children’s right to a free public education — which is true — but if parents sent their children to school naked, that too would also deny their child a right to a free public education.
There are several (many?) restrictions that would get a child sent home until the transgression was rectified. (Spouting Bible verses comes immediately to mind.)
Private schools might be an answer for those un-vaccinated children.
Public school is not Burger King. You can’t have it your way.
