End The Statute of Limitations on Rape

The three count guilty finding of Bill Cosby, begs the question: Why is there a Statute of Limitations on rape!

I have to admit that rape is something so foreign to my inner culture that I can hardly even imagine it — I melt instantly at the tears of women. I was raised to the belief that men protect the weak, whether women, children, disabled or men who are smaller.

When I hear that 62 women have accused Cosby, but he is charged by only one women and the others are relegated to nonentities because of the Statute of Limitations, it makes a mockery of the term “Justice.”

The first woman came public about Cosby in 2014, years before the Harvey Weinstein phenomenon and the #METOO. At last, women are being believed.

It is long overdue.
